Door Rubber Strips and Sealing Profiles

The Güngör catalogue presents shaped rubber seals for steel doors, aluminium doors and windows, facade systems, PVC windows and automatic doors. These are profile-specific components: the cross-section, fixing groove and working compression must match the frame and leaf. Material and Application Families

• Steel-door seals: EPDM sponge and solid-rubber profiles for the door frame and leaf. The catalogue includes hollow, multi-chamber, threshold and angled sections.
• Aluminium and facade seals: EPDM and silicone options designed around the profile system, including channel, push-fit and glazing-related shapes.
• PVC and automatic-door seals: EPDM sections matched to the relevant profile, with AKF and F-series examples.
• Industrial profiles: separate EPDM and silicone solid or sponge sections for applications such as protective strips, tank seals and other shaped gaskets.

Find the Correct Cross-Section

Steel-door examples include G7, G8, G04, G03, G06 and G09 sponge profiles. Aluminium-system examples include ST-KÜP, ALM01, ALM03, ALM05 and Z-series sections. The PVC and automatic-door page includes F-01, F-02, F-03, F-04, F-05 and PAK-05. Each drawing has its own geometry; similar-looking sections are not necessarily interchangeable.

Send a clear photograph of the cut end beside a ruler, or provide a dimensioned section drawing. Identify the groove width and depth, overall seal height, contact gap and whether the original profile is solid or sponge. A physical sample is useful when replacing an unknown extrusion. Confirm the selected drawing and tolerances before ordering production quantities.

Installation and Performance Review

These profiles are intended to seal the appropriate frame and leaf interfaces. Actual air, water, acoustic and thermal performance depends on the complete assembly, continuity at corners and the correct compression. The catalogue does not provide a universal performance class for every strip. State any required test documents or exposure conditions so the material and profile can be checked for the intended installation.
